CASUAL MINIBUS DRIVER

Contract/Hours: Casual Hours, term time only

Salary Type: Support Staff, Hourly rate £12.85

Hours of Work: As required in term time

St Swithun Wells are seeking to appoint a minibus driver to start as soon as possible. The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years’ driving experience and hold a current clean and valid driving licence. A Midas certificate & first aid certificate is required; however, training will be provided for this. You will also be responsible for the maintenance, checks and administration of the minibus.

Good interpersonal skills, a commitment to safeguarding pupils and a knowledge of driving, health and safety are essential, as is a positive attitude, awareness and understanding of a school environment.

This is a casual term-time position. The successful candidate will work as required, Monday to Friday. There will be the opportunity to help with school trips.

Experience of an education setting would be an advantage, but is not essential. However, you must be able to demonstrate an affinity for working in an environment with school-aged pupils.
